Starting school is one of the most important steps a child will take in their life. As a parent of a future prep student, choosing the right school for your son or daughter, therefore, becomes one of the most important decisions you will make.
Templestowe Park Primary School offers a comprehensive program of activities, designed to give you every opportunity to understand everything you need to know to make that decision. We want you and your family to feel welcome to visit our school, to ask questions, to see our students and teachers in action and, if you decide that Templestowe Park is the right place for your child, to start the transition into Grade Prep.
The calendar of events is listed below. If you would like further information or would like to receive one of our information packs sent to you, please visit our contact page and either call or email our school office.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
Open Days and Evenings
We will have a number of opportunities for parents and children to visit the school - some will occur during normal school hours, others out of hours. During these sessions, staff, parents and students will be at school, giving you the opportunity to bring your son or daughter along to see what happens at school and to find out what you need to know to make an informed decision about your child's primary school.
These sessions will occur on:
- Saturday, 19th May 2018 - 9:30am to 12:00noon
- Tuesday, 22nd May 2018 - 9:30 to 10:30am
- Wednesday, 23rd May 2018 - 6:00 to 8.00pm
If none of these times suit, please contact the school to arrange for a school tour with a senior member of staff at another time.
Conducted by our Principal or Assistant Principal, school tours are a wonderful way to see the school in action. Find out more about the philosophy in teaching and learning at Templestowe Park and view our excellent facilities. This is a great opportunity to learn about the benefits of our school.
We conduct both individual and group tours at Templestowe Park. The individual tours can be made for a time that is mutually convenient and the group tours are held regularly on Tuesday mornings at 9.30am.
Please telephone us on 9846 2700 to schedule an appointment.
